Require the Upload of Participant Proof of Age During Registration
Admins can now require Proof of Age to be uploaded during the registration process for participants with a current Proof of Age status of No.
To apply this requirement:
Navigate to the season you wish to collect birth certificates for and locate the Structure tab.
Click the edit icon at the season or grouping level where you want to require the birth certificate upload.
Locate the tab for Required Fields (see screenshot below) check off the Participant Proof of Age option, and Save.
Any participants who register will now be required to upload a file in the Proof of Age field in Step 2.2 of the registration process. This will only be required if the participant does not currently have a Proof of Age set to Yes.
The uploaded file will be stored in an encrypted file format for security purposes. It may only be accessed by Full Registration Admins for each Club System.
If the Proof of Age is synced to a Governing Body system for purposes of age verification, it will be accessible by the Governing Body Club (depending on permissions), League, and Full Admins.
To view the file, access the participant’s profile and click the View File link.
To correct a file or upload a missing file, click on the Edit Person Info button on the participant’s profile. This will expose the Birth Certificate field, where admins can click on the View File link or choose to upload a new file for purposes of correction.
Proof of Age may be uploaded on any person by Registration Admins if the collection of the file was not required at the time of registration.
