Adding household members - Site Admin

Updated over a week ago

To add a household member, first, start by searching for the household in Members. Click on the hyperlinked name of the household in the search results to go to the household's page in the system:

Next, click the Add Household Member button.

From this screen, you can add information for the member you are adding to the household. Use either the UUID Lookup, email address, or the First/Last Name fields on the “Add New Household Member” screen to find a known member within your club system. This will help prevent the creation of duplicate profiles.

On the Create New Person pop-up, enter one of the following to look for existing profiles, and then move the cursor out of the text area to engage the search

  • UUID Lookup: Add the UUID of a household member and click the Lookup button once the green Valid text appears.

  • First/Last Name Lookup: Add at least the first three letters of a person’s first name AND the entire last name, and click out of the text box to start the name match lookup.

  • Email: Add the email of a household member and click out of the text box to start the email lookup.

Potential person matches will be presented to you with redacted information. Information supplied on potential matches is limited to First/Last Name, redacted email, gender, redacted birth date, street address, and zip code.

  • Use the Green Select Person button to add an existing person to the household, or

  • If the potential matches are not relevant, click the cancel button on the Person lookup results view to proceed with adding a new household member based on the information entered on the previous Create New Person pop-up.

Important Notes:
If you are synchronizing your club data to another organization (League, State Association, or Governing Body):

  • The system searches for people across ALL other clubs connected to the same League, State Association, or Governing Body. This was designed to prevent the creation of duplicate people in other associated member systems.

  • Information is not shared beyond the basic profile information and household attributes (Household Name, Address, Emergency Contacts, and Medical Information)

  • This feature is not available for household members to look up their own/other households. This is an admin-only function.
