If the card has just expired/canceled, but the account is still active with the bank or credit card company, then the refund goes back to the account the card is associated with.
Even if the account is closed, it is possible to refund a closed or canceled credit card/bank account. When refunds are issued on closed accounts, the user should receive a check from that bank or credit card company. The bank or credit card may also deny the refund transaction if the cardholder's account is closed. When this happens, OTTO Sport will provide the option to refund the payment as a check/cash instead of back to the credit card. If you do not see that as an option to refund a payment as a check/cash when the payment cannot be refunded to the credit card, please contact our support team.
