When creating a schedule for a tournament or a league, a permit group must be assigned to the individual team or division before scheduling. If you are importing your schedule from an Excel file, you do not need to worry about this step. If you're using the system to create a schedule, you must first set up your field permits and then assign them to each division or an individual team. Follow these steps to assign each team or division their permit group:
From the admin home page click on Elements
Choose Scheduling Administration
Select the correct season from the top (if applicable)
Click on a specific age group or ALL (if applicable)
Decide which division you want to work on and click on the # of teams under the column called TEAM SEEDING. You will see a list of all teams in the division.
In the last column for each team you can assign the appropriate permit group. This is a good way to do it if your permits are set up by club and each team plays for a different club. However, if your permits are set up for the entire season OR by age, you can select the permit group for the field called, Permits for Placeholder Games and Division DEFAULT (OPTIONAL). If you select the permit group for the last item, it will automatically set the permits for all teams in that division.
