Some features outlined in this article may not be visible to your organization. These Layout options are part of a gradual rollout currently underway for existing organizations.
Before you Start
Your site comes with a default header and footer already set up. New templates will use these by default, so you have a working starting point right away.
Your design styles (CSS classes) are pre-loaded based on your site's custom design. You do not need to set these up yourself. If you need a new style added, contact OTTO SPORT.
Changes go live immediately. If you want to experiment, consider building and testing on a page that is not as heavily trafficked, or use Edit Page Settings > Publishing Options > Pending Public View.
Create a New Template
On the homepage, scroll down to the Website CMS section and select Design Templates.
Next to the Layout Templates header, click Add.
3. Give your template a name and select Save. Tip: Name it something you’ll be able to identify later.
4. The new template will appear in the Layout Template section. Click on it to begin building your template.
5. You’ll be taken to a page where your new template will start with a default header, a default footer, and a single full-width content row.
6. From here, select Edit Layout. This is where you can begin to customize the layout by adding, removing, and configuring rows.
Choosing a New Header and Footer
Your template will use the default header and footer to start. If your site has additional header or footer options set up, you can switch to one of those.
In the Layout Template Editor, find the Header setting.
Select from the available options in the dropdown.
Repeat for the Footer setting.
Click Save.
Note: Headers and footers are set up and managed by your OTTO SPORT. If you need a new header or footer option, contact your Account Manager or the Support Team.
