Requesting A Refund

At OWNU refunds are always processed by the platform where you purchased your OWNU subscription:

  • Apple App Store (iOS) – refunds are managed directly by Apple.

  • Google Play Store (Android) – refunds are managed directly by Google.

  • Website (Stripe) – refunds are managed by OWNU through our payment provider, Stripe.

Please note that OWNU cannot issue refunds directly for subscriptions purchased via Apple or Google, as these payments are handled exclusively by those platforms.

Eligibility for Refunds

Refund eligibility depends on where and when you purchased your OWNU subscription:

  • Apple App Store and Google Play Store: Refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of subscribing. Final approval is always at Apple or Google’s discretion.

  • Website (Stripe): Refunds are also only available for purchases made within the first 48 hours of subscribing.

  • No partial refunds: We’re not able to offer partial refunds for unused time once a billing period has already started.

  • Free trials: Free trials are not refundable. Since the trial automatically converts to a paid plan unless cancelled, you won’t be charged during the trial period itself.

How to Request a Refund Through Apple (App Store)

  1. Tap or click "I'd like to", then choose "Request a refund".

  2. Choose the reason why you want a refund, then choose Next.

  3. Choose the app, subscription or other item, then choose Submit. If you've been charged for a subscription that you no longer want, you can also cancel the subscription.

How to Request a Refund Through Google (Google Play Store)

  1. At the top right, click your profile icon.

  2. Select Payments and subscriptions > Budget and order history.

  3. Find the order that you want to return.

  4. Select Request a refund or Report a problem.

  5. Choose the option that describes your situation.

  6. Complete the form and note that you'd like a refund.

  7. You'll get a message that says 'Thank you for sharing your concerns'. You'll also receive an email with a refund decision.

How to Request a Refund Through Stripe (web)

If you purchased your subscription directly through the OWNU website, your payment is processed by Stripe. Since OWNU manages Stripe payments ourselves, we’re always here to assist you directly.

If you believe you’re eligible for a refund, please contact our support team. We’ll review your case and, where possible, issue the refund as soon as we can.

Unlike Apple and Google, where final approval is outside our control, OWNU has the flexibility to look into Stripe refunds on a case-by-case basis.

How Long Does a Refund Take to Process?

From experience, we've seen this take between 3-7 working days to process depending on the platform - but it can sometimes be instant!
