(Please note that this is a paid add-on, DMV Verification checks can be purchased and used when conducting scans)

What it is:

The DMV Verification Add-On is now available for PALIDIN Desktop, the mobile app, and the Portal. It enhances the PALIDIN authentication solution with real-time, original-source Driver’s License (DL) data verification. This ensures that your customer's unique information—such as name, address, and DL number—exists in the respective issuing state’s Department of Motor Vehicles database.

DMV Verification State Availability Map:

How it works:

  • Once a customer's DL is scanned into PALIDIN, the system forensically interrogates over 20+ security features embedded on the ID document and returns a "Pass" or "Fail" authentication result within seconds

  • PALIDIN then encrypts the DL data and securely pings the source state’s DMV, for a real time validation check of the presence of the customer record in the current DMV database.

How to use it - Desktop:

  • After a scan has been conducted using PALIDIN Desktop, select "DMV Verification" from the Scan Results Screen

  • This will automatically run the DMV verification

  • Next select the DMV Result tab on the left side to view the results page

How to use it - Portal:

  • Click on the Applicant you wish to run a DMV Verification Check on

  • Under DMV Verification select Run DMV

  • DMV Verification will run, and the results will be displayed on the applicant's overview page

How to use it - Mobile App:

  • Once a scan has been conducted on the Mobile App you can choose to run the DMV Verification

  • On the Authentication Results page next to DMV Verification select Verify

  • The DMV Verification results will then be displayed on the Mobile App
