Failed or Unknown Scan Result on Valid Document

Follow the steps below if you are receiving a failed or unknown result on what you believe to be a valid document

If you are receiving failed or unknown results from your document scans, please follow the instructions below:

1.) Enable Sample Files

  • In Settings. Sampling> toggle on save options

2.) Update Software

  • To check what version you are running on, open the PALIDIN app and locate version (bottom-middle)

  • Turn off scanner and disconnect from PC

  • If you are not running on the latest version of PALIDIN, please update from this site: https://www.fraudfighter.com/palidin/newinstallation

    • Once the installer is downloaded, right click and run it as admin

    • Once PALIDIN is installed, right click and launch PALIDIN as admin for the first time.

3.) Reconnect scanner

4.) Run 3-5 test scans

  • If the scans still fail, please upload the samples (by clicking Show -1st screenshot) to this secure file LINK
