Eligible Plans

International Data Roaming (OnePool) is currently available only to customers subscribed to the following plans:

  • Regular Panda Mobile Plans: Unlimited and Unlimited Plus.

  • Panda Mobile Student Plans: Student Unlimited and Student Ultimate.

How to Enable Data Roaming

If you are subscribed to one of the eligible plans and are traveling to any of the supported destinations, please make sure that Data Roaming is enabled in your device's cellular settings. This is the final step required to use your plan's shared data while roaming.

Follow the instructions below:

  • iPhone: Go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Turn on Data Roaming.

  • Android: Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Turn on Data Roaming.

Once Data Roaming is enabled, your device should be able to access mobile data while connected to a supported roaming network.

Calls and Text

Please note that Panda Mobile does not currently offer regular cellular calls and text messaging while roaming internationally. However, you can still make and receive calls and send and receive text messages over Wi-Fi using Wi-Fi Calling.

Wi-Fi Calling is available on all Panda Mobile plans. However, International Long-Distance Calling (ILD) is only available on eligible plans.

Depending on where you are and who you are contacting, please follow these guidelines:

  • Communicating with U.S. numbers while outside the United States: You only need to enable Wi-Fi Calling to make and receive calls and send and receive text messages over a Wi-Fi connection.

  • Communicating with international numbers while outside the United States: You may also need to enable International Long-Distance Calling (ILD), in addition to Wi-Fi Calling, to contact numbers in the country you are visiting.

Eligible Plans for International Long-Distance Calling (ILD)

ILD is currently available exclusively to customers subscribed to the following plans:

  • Regular Panda Mobile Plans: Starter, Unlimited, and Unlimited Plus.

  • Panda Mobile Student Plans: Student Starter, Student Unlimited, and Student Ultimate.

How to Enable Wi-Fi Calling

Follow the instructions below to enable Wi-Fi Calling on your device:

  • iPhone: Go to Settings > Phone > Wi-Fi Calling > Turn on Wi-Fi Calling.

  • Android: Go to Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi Calling > Turn on Wi-Fi Calling.

When enabling Wi-Fi Calling for the first time, your device may prompt you to enter an emergency address. Simply follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

How to Enable International Features (ILD)

If you are subscribed to an eligible plan and need to communicate with international numbers, please follow the instructions in our guide:

Important: Wi-Fi Calling requires an active Wi-Fi connection. Enabling Wi-Fi Calling and ILD does not enable regular cellular calls or text messaging while roaming internationally.
