Manufacturer lists let you create curated groups of preferred or approved manufacturers — so when you use Product Finder, you can instantly filter results to only the vendors you want to search from.
| 1.Navigate to Manufacturer Lists |
Click the ⚙️ Settings icon.
Select the Manufacturer section.
Click Manufacturer List.
Click Create New List.
| 2. Build Your MFG List |
Enter a List Name (required).
Optionally add a Description to help your team understand the list's purpose.
Click the Manufacturer dropdown and select the manufacturers you want to include.
Tip: You can create multiple lists for different needs — for example, one by product category (Lighting, Gear) or one by region or customer type. |
| 3.Set Access and Edit Permissions |
Choose who can access this list:
Public — all team members on the account can view and use it.
Private — only you can see it.
Specific Branches — restrict access to selected branches within your account.
Choose who can edit this list:
Admins only
All users who have access to the list
Click Save — your list will appear in the Manufacturer List section.
Note: Lists with a 🔒 lock icon are admin-editable only. This icon is visible to all users who have access to the list. |
| 4. Use Your List in Product Finder |
Open Product Finder from the magnifying glass icon in your BOM.
Click the Acceptable Manufacturers dropdown.
Select your manufacturer list to instantly filter search results to those manufacturers only.
Tip: If you star a list, it becomes your default for all Product Finder searches — saving you from selecting it manually each time. |
