Learn where you can find your software ID in Payroller with our simple guide below. The Software ID (SSID) is a unique identifier crucial for Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting compliance with the Australian Tax Office (ATO).
Step 1: Select your company profile in the upper left corner of your screen.
Step 2: Select ‘Settings’.
Step 3: Select ‘Payroll & STP’.
Step 4: Select ‘STP’.
The following form will appear with the Software ID listed.
Important Note for Agents
Each client has a unique Software ID for their individual account or payroll file. Ensure that this SSID is registered with the ATO for accurate STP reporting. Do not add your client’s Software ID to your own access manager.
Accessing the Software ID on the Mobile App
To find your SSID through the mobile app:
Tap the three dots located at the upper right corner of your screen.
Select STP Settings.
Your unique Software ID (SSID) will be displayed on the screen.
Before submitting to the ATO, make sure STP is enabled and Payroller is registered as your software provider with the ATO.
