Learn how to allow your employees to accumulate long service leave in the Payroller mobile app with our simple guide below.

To set up long service leave select the three dots on the top right-hand corner

Select ‘Payroll Settings’

Tick ‘Allow long service leave’

The amount of long service leave varies across states in Australia. Select the state you live in so your long service leave is accrued correctly.

If you are located in SA or NT select the Long service leave rate.

Select the state that applies

Make sure to tick the Long service leave balance option in the show in Payslip section if you want the long service leave shown in the payslip.

Please note: long service leave will accrue on full-time, part-time, and casual employees. If you would like the system to continue to accrue long service leave for your employees but do not wish to show this amount on the employee's payslip please feel free to untick the long service leave balance the shown in payslip section.

Your long service leave should now appear on the pay run

You can also now take out long service leave on the pay runs as well as add them in to opening balances for your employees.
