Learn how to allow Long Service Leave requests for employees in Payroller with our simple guide below.

Step 1: Go to your account profile in the top left corner of the main screen.

Step 2: Click on ‘Settings’.

Step 3: Go to ‘Leave’.

Step 4: Enable ‘Allow long service leave’ using the toggle switch.

Step 5: Select the correct Long Service Leave rate.

The amount of long service leave varies across states in Australia. Select the state you live in so your long service leave is accrued correctly.

Optional: You can also enable the 'Long service leave balance' option in the Shown in Payslip section if you'd like it to appear on the payslip.

Please note that long service leave will accrue for full-time, part-time, and casual employees. If you'd like the system to continue accruing long service leave but prefer not to show the balance on the employee's payslip, you can untick the 'Long service leave balance' option in the payslip section.

Step 6: Select 'Save changes'.

Your employee payslips will now show Long Service Leave accrual.
