How do I change my program or Training Cycle?

How to change or switch to a new program or Training Cycle in Peak Strength.

If you're in the middle of a Training Cycle and want to switch things up — whether your Peak Date changed or you want a different Training Focus — you can rebuild your Training Plan at any time.

Note: rebuilding a Training Cycle cannot be undone. Your workouts and phase graph will update to the new plan. All completed workouts and data from your previous cycle are saved, and you can view them by scrolling back on your calendar.

  1. Tap the cog on the Training Dashboard.

2. Tap "Edit" in the top right corner.

3. Tap "Rebuild my training plan."

4. Review the warning and tap "Continue" to confirm you want to rebuild.

5. From the Rebuild menu, you can update your Experience Level, Training Focus, Peak Date or season dates, and training days. To change your Training Focus, tap the current training goal shown.

6. Select your Training Path. You can learn more about each one here:

7. Select your sport, Training Focus, or occupation. Note: for sports and some Training Focuses, there are additional positions, events, or sub-focuses to choose from.

8. Answer the date questions to set your Peak Date or season dates.

9. Select how many days per week you want to train and which days.

10. Enter your current performance metrics.

11. You'll return to the Rebuild menu to review all your changes. When everything looks right, continue to the Training Plan summary.

12. Review your new Training Plan summary, then tap "Start Training Cycle" to build your plan.

Your new Training Cycle is ready. Head to your Training Dashboard to get started.
