Peak Strength offers a variety of programs available to be changed and rest at any time. Peak Strength allows you to choose training goals for 39 sport specifications, 20 general training goals, and 3 tactical readiness fields.

The detailed training goal selections allow Peak Strength to provide a personalized program based on what you want to train for.

NOTE: If you create a new program or change from the one you are currently on, you WILL NOT be able to recover the previous program. So make sure you are ready to commit to the new program and are okay with losing the periodization of your current program.

To create or switch to a new training cycle, start by heading into your account settings and select “Training Plan”.

Click “edit” in the top right corner.

Select “Rebuild my training plan”.

You will then receive a warning screen confirming that you will be rebuilding your entire training plan. Click "Continue" if you are looking to build a new plan.

After confirming your decision to reset your training plan, you will have multiple options or things to change in your training plan such as your experience level, training preference, peak date or season start/end dates, and training days.

To change the preference of your plan, select to edit the current training goal.

Select the training path you wish to follow. You can learn more about the primary training paths here:

Select your specific sport, goal, or occupation.

NOTE: for sports and training goals, there may be more specific positions, goals, or events to select from.

Select the date of your first workout.

You will then be taken through a questionnaire to personalize your program to determine your peak date.

Select or confirm how many days and which days throughout the week you want to complete workouts.

Select whether you would like to perform or skip the baseline testing week.

You will then be asked to input your current performance metrics.

NOTE: If you are unsure about your current performance metrics, input the numbers you can confidently complete at that time. This will help Peak Strength with providing weight suggestions through your program. Otherwise, you can skip these screens and you can manually adjust/input your working sets when completing the workouts.

You will then receive a program summary screen for your new program.

Click “Build my program” at the bottom of this screen to build your new program.

NOTE: Once you click “Start training cycle” you will no longer be able to access your previous program.

Now you have a new training plan built for you in Peak Strength.
