PIN & QR codes are uniquely assigned against individual students to ensure they have their own QR code and PIN to use when taking school meals.
Step by step guide
Step 1
Once logged into your Tali account, you must first navigate to the Admin (Administration) tab and select Manage Names. Here, you are able to view, assign, edit or remove a students PIN and QR code from their name.
Step 2
Within Manage Names, find the students account by typing their name into the search filter above the names table.
Step 3
Select the students name (by clicking the blue part of their name) to open and view their contact card. In here, you will be able to see the students existing PIN and QR code in Till Details;
To replace a students PIN, you must overtype the existing PIN with their newly assigned PIN from the new card you have (usually from reception). Once entered, you can select 'Save' at the bottom of the contact card page to update the changes.
The new PIN / QR card can now be given to the student to use.
You can generate a new PIN if you need to assign a PIN randomly and then print this out for the Student in Till>PIN & QR Code.
Step 4 - Additional information
Should you wish to see a list of all the students current PINs, these can be found under the Till tab, followed by Pin & QR Code.
