Customize Your Search View

In this article, you will learn how to change your listing view, adjust the map, and customize the columns on your Search page so you can review listings faster.

Adjust your map view while you search

Tune the map so you can compare results and location context at the same time.

  • Use the adjuster pin to resize your map to your desired size by simply, clicking and dragging.

  • Switch map layers to change what you see on the map (for example, Satellite, Terrain, or Roadmap).


Change how listings display in results (Grid, Expanded, Compact)

Click the view drop down to change the view of your listings.

  • Select List View to hide images and focus on a compact view of listing data.

  • Select Expanded View to preview the first photo and key listing data in the first column.

  • Select Tiles View to see a consumer focused view of listings with larger photos and key details.

  • Select Preview to see the full listing details and page through the search results.

  • Select Analytics View to use visual charts to view listing data.


Customize the columns in your results table

When using either the List or Expanded view, control which data points show up in your results and how they’re ordered.

To add or remove a column:

  1. Click the Columns drop down at the top of the search results

  2. Click on the Columns header in the menu

  3. Either search for the column by typing the column name in the search box, or scroll down to field in the list

  4. Add a column by checking the box to the right of the column name

  5. Remove a column by unchecking the box to the right of the column name

There are two ways that you can update the order of your columns:

  1. Click and drag a column header left or right on the search results table, or

  2. Click the Columns drop down at the top of the search results, then drag and drop a column header up or down using the six dots on the left.


Saving your Customizations as a Template

Once you're done customizing your search results view, you can save your column layout as a template for future searches.

Steps:

  1. Click the Columns drop down

  2. Click Save New

  3. Name your Template

  4. View all saved templates, in the Template view
