Messaging Clients

Easily communicate with clients directly in Perchwell on the desktop or mobile app. Clients can view, chat, and rate listings all in one place.

When sharing listing with clients invited to Perchwell, they will also have the ability to use our Message Feature. Here you can communicate with clients directly in the platform. They can react to listings with quick reactions and share their feedback directly with you.


How to Start a New Chat:

  1. Hover Over the Contacts Slide-Out Bar.

  2. Select the ‘New Chat’ Icon.

  3. Choose a Contact: Select the client you want to start messaging.

  4. Enter Your Message: Type out your message.

  5. Click Send: Hit the send button to start the conversation.

💡 Tip: You can also start a chat directly from the listing page by selecting ‘Start a Message Thread’.


Reactions Feature:

Reactions allow clients to leave feedback on properties. They can choose between Like, Dislike, or Maybe. Based on their reactions, listings will be sorted into their designated categories in the Shared Properties section.


Shared Properties Overview:

Get a comprehensive view of all listings you've shared with a client.

  1. Select Lists: Choose between Like, Dislike, and Maybe to focus on properties that matter most to your clients.

  2. Sort the Lists: Organize properties by Active Threads, Price, or Recent Changes.

  3. View Chats: Click on any property to see the related chat thread.


Things to Know:

  1. Timestamps: See when you sent listings and when clients responded.

  2. Client Access: Only invited clients can access messages and its features.

  3. Client View: Clients have the same messaging interface in their Perchwell accounts.

  4. Conversation Management: Conversations cannot be deleted from Messages.
