What is a Template Search in Perchwell?

A template search stores your selected:

  • Filters

  • Column order

  • Map layout

  • Listing view settings

๐Ÿ’ก When a template is active, those settings are applied automatically when creating a new search.

Create a Template Search

Start from the Search page and configure your preferred settings before saving.

Steps

  1. Click Search in the navigation bar.

  2. Apply your preferred filters.

  3. Adjust the Map and Listing display settings.

  4. Reorder or add filter columns as needed.

  5. Click Save Changes.

  6. Enter a name for the search.

  7. Open the Saved Search dropdown.

  8. Locate the saved search.

  9. Click the Template icon next to the search name.

The selected search is now your active template.

Use a Template Search

Once a template is set:

  • Click Create New Search.

  • The new search will load with your saved template settings.

  • When refreshing your page (clicking the P icon in the top left corner), the page will reset with the default filters and settings associated with the template.

๐Ÿ’กYou can modify filters after creating the search without changing the template.

Tips

  • Only one template can be active at a time.

  • Updating a template requires editing and saving that search again.

  • Templates store layout and filter settings, not client contacts.

  • Naming conventions help identify template searches in the dropdown.
