Updated over 2 weeks ago

1. Disassemble

Your Perifit Flow parts arrive already assembled in the box. Make sure to disassemble it before first use to clean and sterilize each component.

2. Sterilize the washable parts

Before your first use, sterilize all washable parts. Follow the sterilization guide available in this article.

3. Charge the motor unit

A USB-C cable is included in the box. While the pump comes partially charged, we strongly recommend fully charging it before your first session.

  • Charging port: Located on the right side of the motor unit.

  • Battery duration: ~2.5 hours (equivalent to 5 sessions of 30 minutes).

  • Charging time: ~2.5 hours.

4. Find your best flange size

A good fit ensures both comfort and efficiency. To choose the right size:

  1. Stimulate and measure both nipples before a feed or pumping session.

2. Use the table below to find the recommended insert:

Nipple Size (mm)

Recommended Insert Size

12–15 mm

19 mm

15–17 mm

21 mm

18–20 mm

24 mm

21–26 mm

28 mm

☝ The insert size is engraved directly on the insert and you have all the sizes included in the box.

☝ You can check fit in a mirror: When placing the insert, your nipple should not touch the sides of the tunnel, and there should be 1–2 mm of space around it.

☝ The smaller size that we have available for the moment is the 19 mm.

5. Assemble the pump

Use the photo below for help assembling your pump components correctly.

6. Start a pumping session

Step 1. Turn on the pump

Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds.

Step 2. Select the pumping mode (Single or Double)

Press and hold the settings button for 3 seconds until the pump switches to single or double pumping. When single pumping is activated, a logo appears at the top left of the screen. When the logo disappears, the pump is back in double mode.

Step 3. Session details

Default session duration is 30 minutes so the pump will automatically shut off after this time.

The battery level is visible in the top right corner of the screen, and whenever needed, you can pause/resume the session with a quick press on the power button.

7. How to change modes & settings

Change the mode with a single press on the settings button. A logo on the control panel will indicate the selected mode.

💡 Tip: Use stimulation mode for the first few minutes until milk starts flowing, then switch to expression mode for better output.
