Google Health Connect allows Android users to securely share health and fitness data between the Perifit Care app and other health apps. Once connected, Perifit Care can access selected health information to provide a more complete view of your wellness journey.
What is Google Health Connect?
Google Health Connect is a platform that lets you manage and share health and fitness data across compatible Android apps. By connecting Health Connect to Perifit Care, you can bring together data from different sources in one place.
How to connect Google Health Connect
You can connect Google Health Connect either:
During account creation
At any time by going to Settings > Integrations in the Perifit Care app
Follow the on-screen instructions to grant the necessary permissions.
What data does Perifit Care read from Google Health Connect?
Once connected, Perifit Care can read the following information from Google Health Connect:

Steps
Walking and running distance
Workouts recorded by other compatible apps
Sleep & Lifestyle
Sleep data
Hydration data
Nutrition data (including caffeine intake)
Body Measurements
Weight
Height
BMI (Body Mass Index)
Heart Health
Heart rate
Android version requirements
Android 14 and above
Health Connect is built directly into Android, so no additional installation is required.
Android 13 and below
You'll need to install the Google Health Connect app before using the integration.
If Health Connect is not installed, the integration option may not be available in Perifit Care. Once installed, you'll be able to access and manage Health Connect permissions from your device settings.
Is menstrual cycle data synced?
No. Menstrual and cycle-related data is not synced from Google Health Connect to Perifit Care.
This is expected behavior and part of the current integration design.
Your privacy
Perifit Care only accesses the health data categories that you explicitly authorize through Google Health Connect. You can review or change these permissions at any time through your device's Health Connect settings.
