If you’re having trouble connecting your Perifit Care(+) device, follow these steps in order:
1. Check your phone settings
Make sure the following settings are enabled:
Bluetooth is turned ON on your phone
The Perifit Care app has Bluetooth permission
Go to your phone settings > Security & Privacy > Bluetooth (or App permissions)
Ensure Perifit Care is allowed to use Bluetooth
Location Services are ON
Required on some devices (especially Android), even on newer OS versions
Battery saving modes are disabled
iOS: Turn off Low Power Mode
Android: Turn off Battery Saver
Also disable Battery Optimization for the Perifit Care app
These energy-saving modes can restrict background Bluetooth scanning and prevent proper connection
2. Do not pair manually via Bluetooth settings
Do not try to pair your Perifit Care(+) from your phone’s Bluetooth menu
The connection is made only inside the Perifit Care app
If “Perifit” appears in your Bluetooth device list, you can ignore it
3. Disconnect other Bluetooth devices
Turn off or disconnect other Bluetooth devices currently connected to your phone (e.g. headphones, watches, etc.)
4. Restart the app properly
Fully close the Perifit Care app:
iOS: Swipe up and remove the app from the screen
Android: Open recent apps and swipe the app away (or tap the close button)
5. Restart your Perifit Care(+) device
Turn on your Perifit Care(+) and keep it in your hands
The LED should be flashing
If it is not flashing, please let us know
6. Reopen the app and connect
Open the Perifit Care app again
Go to the “Today” tab
Tap “Start” to initiate connection
7. If it still doesn’t work
Restart your phone and repeat the steps above
This helps reset Bluetooth settings and permissions
8. Still having issues?
If the connection still fails, please contact our support team directly via the ? button of the app’s main screen for further assistance.
