Every pelvic floor is different, which is why the Perifit Care app personalizes your training experience based on your health targets, performance, and preferences.
From the moment you set up the app, several elements work together to create a training plan that's tailored to your needs and evolves as you progress.
How Your Training Is Personalized
1. Your Health Targets
When setting up the Perifit Care app, you'll choose one or more Health Targets that best match your goals:
Stop leaks
Enhance my sexual well-being
Return to sports
Recover from pregnancy
Maintain my pelvic health
Relieve prolapse symptoms
These Health Targets determine the contraction patterns used throughout your training sessions, ensuring your workouts focus on the aspects of pelvic floor function that matter most to you.
2. Your First Training Session
Your performance during your first game helps the app better understand your current pelvic floor abilities.
Based on your results, the Perifit Care app can adjust future exercises to focus on areas that may benefit from additional training, such as strength, control, speed, or endurance.
3. Your Training Time Goals
You'll also choose a Training Time Goal, which determines:
how many days per week you plan to train
how long each training session should last
This allows the app to tailor your daily workouts to fit your schedule while encouraging consistent progress.
How to Update Your Health Targets
You can change your Health Targets at any time.
Go to:
Settings → My health information
Then:
To remove a Health Target: tap on it
To add a Health Target: tap Add > tap ➕ > Confirm
Your future training sessions will automatically be updated with contraction patterns that match your new Health Targets.
Good to Know
All Health Targets include core elements that promote a healthy, balanced pelvic floor.
The personalized contraction patterns simply place greater emphasis on the areas that are most relevant to your selected goals.
