Calibrate & Play

Prior to start playing games during a training session, you will be asked to go through the Calibration step.

The Calibration step asks you to contract and relax your pelvic floor, 3 times in a row.

The goal is to adapt the game to your current pelvic floor's strength.

If the game is too hard and you want to take it slow, feel free to give only 50% of your best during calibration. If needed, you can pause a game at any time to do a new calibration.

After completing the Calibration and before starting your game, read the rules. Tap Start when you are ready.

You can pause a game and start it over at any time if you feel you had a bad start (bad positioning, misunderstanding of the rules etc).

During a game, the 2 sensors in the Perifit Care are used this way:

  • The superficial sensor (lower on the probe, near your vaginal entrance) is used to detect your pelvic floor's contractions and to make the pin move. Try squeezing your pelvic floor muscles like you would to block wind or stop the flow of urine.

  • The deep sensor (top on the probe, near your cervix) is used by the contraction quality meter (showing in the lower-right corner) to display your contraction's quality. If the needle moves to the orange or red zones, it means that you are applying some intra-abdominal pressure. Try releasing your abs and contracting your pelvic floor in an isolated manner.

The most important is trying to follow the game's contraction patterns, and not reach all targets at no cost. If you miss one of the targets, it's totally fine. Try to avoid contracting and relaxing rapidly to get it when you have missed it, it will do more harm than good.

And trust, we have rarely seen someone reaching all targets! It's totally normal.
