Overview
The Scanner app is a Progressive Web App (PWA) — it runs through your mobile browser but works like a standalone app once installed on your home screen. No app store download is required.
How to install on iOS
Open app.perkstar.co.uk/scanner-app in Safari on your iPhone.
Tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen.
Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
Tap Add to confirm.
The Scanner app icon now appears on your home screen. Tap it anytime to open the app.
How to install on Android
Open app.perkstar.co.uk/scanner-app in Chrome on your Android device.
Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
Tap Add to Home Screen or Install App (depending on your browser).
Tap Install to confirm.
The Scanner app icon now appears on your home screen. Tap it anytime to open the app.
Tip: If the install prompt doesn't appear, clear your browser cache and open the link again.
How to log in
Open the Scanner app from your home screen or browser.
Enter your email address and password, then tap Sign In.
You can also log in using your phone number with an SMS verification code.
Note: You cannot create new accounts from within the Scanner app. To set up access for your staff, create manager accounts from your Perkstar dashboard first. Managers can then log in with their own credentials.
Forgot your password?
If you or a manager forget the password, tap the password reset option on the login screen. A new password will be sent to the email address on file.
