When visitors fill out and submit the form in your funnel, your Calendly calendar appears next so they can select a free time slot, followed by another form from Calendly.
This Calendly form is automatically pre-filled with the form data from the funnel so visitors don’t have to re-enter the same information, increasing the chances of a successful booking.
In this article, you’ll find instructions on how to pass not only the required fields (name and email address) but also additional data such as phone numbers or privacy policy confirmations to Calendly.
A detailed guide on how to integrate Calendly into your funnel can be found HERE.
Transfer the phone number from the funnel to Calendly
1. Prerequisite: Calendly block is embedded on a page in your funnel
Make sure you have embedded the Calendly block in your funnel and linked your Calendly event URL. Instructions on how to do this can be found here.
2. Add a phone number field to the funnel form
3. Switch to Calendly and open “Invitee Questions” in the event options
4. Add a new question with the answer type “Phone Number” and save
5. Make sure the Phone Number is the first Question in this list, you can Drag & Drop them, to move it around, otherwise the Number will show up in the wrong field in Perspective.
6. Re-Publish your funnel and check, if the number is prepopulated correctly. In this screenshot you can see that it's wrong. To fix this, follow the instructions described in Step 5.
6. Publish your funnel and run a test - check if everything is set up correctly.
7. Done! The phone number will now be pre-filled in Calendly 🎉
💡 Important: Make sure the order of the form fields in your funnel form matches the order of the fields in your Calendly form.
This ensures that the correct fields are pre-filled with the correct data.
The data from the funnel form is passed to the Calendly form, with field mapping done based on order: Name and email are required fields. After that, Form Field 1 from the funnel links to Form Field 1 in Calendly, Field 2 to Field 2, and so on. Example:
