How to correct a point balance with a negative transaction or deduct points from a contact’s account

Manually create a negative transaction/correct a point balance.

To correct the point balance of a contact:

  1. Navigate to Contacts

    • Go to ‘Contacts’ and select ‘Contacts’ from the dropdown menu.

  2. Search for the Contact

    • Enter the name of the contact into the search bar and select them from the results.

  3. Access Loyalty Transactions

    • Once on the contact profile, click on ‘Loyalty transaction’.

  4. Adjust the Point Balance

    • Select the shop to which this applies.

    • Enter the amount of points you would like to deduct, ensuring to place a minus ‘-’ sign in front.

  5. Complete the Transaction

    • Click ‘Create’ to complete the negative loyalty transaction.

The point balance of the contact has now been corrected.
