To configure your gift card program, go to 'Store'->‘Gift cards’ and click the ‘Settings’ tab on the left. On this page, you will automatically be on the overview page for your primary gift card program.
To create a new gift card program, click on ‘+ New giftcard’. Create a name and click ‘Create’. You can see which program you are currently in at the top of the ‘Gift card’ dropdown menu in the navigation.
To configure your program, click the ‘Settings’ on the sidebar. Under the giftcard program settings, you can find the following:
- The maximum and minimum purchase amounts for gift cards in this program
- The expiration date for cards in the program in the field 'expiration days'. (note: this value is entered as a number of days until expiry when a card is purcahsed. There is no expiration date on the whole program, the number of expiration days is applied to each card when purchased.)
- The internal value UUID of the giftcard program (for integrations)
- The option to delete that specific giftcard program, although this is no longer possible once there are transactions.
You can link the gift cards to specific shops or all shops under the ‘Groups’ tab.
