How to create multi-section documents using the pitch assembler in Elements
Generating documents with multiple sections can be easily achieved using Pitchly’s Elements app. The "Add to Export" feature is specifically designed for multi-section documents, allowing users to download a single presentation that consolidates content from their entire account. For those who prefer traditional exports with a single section, simply click the "Complete Export" button in the final export screen.
Assemble a pitch:
Open the Elements App in full screen.
Segment and select content to export.
Click "Add to Export" to add a section.
To add additional sections, navigate back to the Elements App and make new selections from the desired table to export.
The bottom right corner displays the number of sections (each with one or more pages).
Click "Complete Export" to finalize the document generation.
Removing sections:
Click the "X" inside the "Sections Added" button at the bottom right corner to remove all sections (see image below).
Important notes:
The pitch assembler requires the full-screen version of Elements. You can, however, initiate the process with the first template from the side panel. Full screen is recommended to avoid having numerous exports open simultaneously.
Sections can be sourced from any workspace a user is assigned to. To do this, clear selections from the Elements screen before selecting additional content from other tables/workspaces.
For consistent results, ensure all PowerPoint slides have the same dimensions. If layouts vary, the export will default to the layout of the last section exported.
Apply page layout settings such as sort order prior to clicking “Add to Export”.
PNG export is not supported with items in the "Add to Export" queue. Instead, use "Complete Export" with an empty queue for PNG exports.
