Increase Image Quality

Supported image file types and tips for better quality logos and images in the Elements app

It is important to know which file types work best with Pitchly. Therefore, we recommend using raster images, such as .png, when exporting images with the Pitchly Elements app. Continue reading for more tips on improving image quality.

Supported file types:

.svg, .gif, .png, .jpeg, .webp, .psd, .bmp, .eps and .tif.

Images exceeding 3300px by 3300px will be automatically scaled down upon export. This will help keep the integrity of high density images.

Our recommendations to increase image quality:

Larger is not always better, but in this case, we recommend it.

The more pixels there are in an image, the higher the resolution. To find out how many pixels your image has, right-click the file, select Properties or Get Info and find the image dimensions.

If the number of pixels in your logo does not fill the designated area, it will appear blurry. Your logo should be at least 300 pixels for every inch of space it covers. This is known as pixels per inch (or PPI).

If you are using raster images within Pitchly, such as PNG, GIF or JPEG, we recommend sizing your images up before uploading them to your table. Uploading a larger-sized image decreases the chances of pixilation. Scaling down a large image is preferable to scaling up a small image.
