How to add a Created At / Updated At field to a table
Created At and Updated At fields display the date and time records are created or updated in Pitchly. These fields can also be used to chronologically order or segment newly created and/ or updated records in tables by applying sorts or filters.
You must have Admin level permissions to add these field types to a table.
To add a Created At/Updated At field:
1. | On the top table ribbon, click the table name |
2. | Click ∨ next to the table name to display more options |
3. | Click Edit Table |
4. | In the Update Table window, click + Add field and insert at the beginning or end of your table
Alternatively, select the more options ⋯ button to the right of an existing field to insert before or after |
5. | Select Created At or Updated At from the field type menu
The field name will default to “Created At/Updated At” depending on the selection |
6. | Click Update to save |
Once added to the table, the respective time/date details will display in the fields. It may take a few minutes for details to populate in larger tables.
Use Created At/ Updated At fields in Pitchly applications:
Created At/ Updated At fields can be used to display the date and timestamp in Elements, Proposals and Slides app templates. A great use case would be to include in Elements app conditional layers. These fields are not supported in the Forms app.
