Now you have successfully connected your PLAATO Connect, it is time to add your PLAATO Pro devices and PLAATO Connect to the app.
Add PLAATO Pro/s and PLAATO Connect to the app
Log into the mobile app using your PLAATO Pro account credentials
Tap on Account > Devices > Tap on the Plus (+) icon
Scan the QR code located on your PLAATO Pro (see screenshot)
To add the PLAATO Connect, tap on Account > Connect> Tap on the Plus (+) icon
Scan the QR code located on the back of the PLAATO Connect
Check to see when the PLAATO Connect was last connected. It should show "Heartbeats" in the last few minutes.
Voila! Your devices are now added to your PLAATO Pro App π
Lets Switch your PLAATO Pro on! π
β οΈ Before turning on your PLAATO Pro, you will need to insert your batteries.
Unscrew the lid on your device
Take out your batteries from the side pockets of your PLAATO Pro case
Using the "pull ribbon", pull out the battery holder
Insert the batteries into the empty battery holder
Gently slide the battery holder back into your device
With the lid unscrewed, toggle the power switch button to "on"
Get your PLAATO Pro online π‘
With the lid unscrewed, toggle the power switch button to "on". You should feel the device vibrate or hear a beep.
The White LED Lights will turn on from L-R in a sequence then they will flash twice. This should mean that your PLAATO Pro has successfully connected.
Go back to your mobile app to check. Account > Devices and see if the PLAATO Pro is showing as connected in the last few mins and the WiFi icon is displayed on your device. This indicates you are successfully connected to cloud. If what you see is a "crossed-cloud" icon, your device is not connected.
β*Sometimes, connection can take a couple of mins. Refresh your app a few times and it should appear.
