If you need to increase the monthly subscription amount for members with active subscriptions, it’s important to follow the correct process to ensure payments are updated smoothly. Changing the price on an existing subscription does not automatically update active members’ subscriptions.


📝Steps to Update the Subscription Amount

  1. Cancel Current Subscriptions

    • Go to the Orders Tab and cancel the current subscriptions for all affected members.

    • This step is necessary because existing subscriptions cannot be automatically updated to the new price.

    • Note: Members will receive an email notification when their subscription is canceled, so communicate in advance.

  2. Create a New Shop Item

    • Set up a new subscription with the updated price as a separate shop item.

  3. Send Payment Requests

    • Once the new shop item is live, send payment requests to all affected members so they can subscribe at the updated price.


💡Communication Best Practices

  • Notify members in advance: Publish a news article in the app 1–2 times prior to the change to inform members of the upcoming update.

  • Notify again when live: Send a reminder when the new subscription is available so members can act promptly.
