If your club isn't on PLAI yet, you can set it up yourself from the Find Your Club screen. The whole process takes a few minutes and walks you through one question at a time.
Name your club
Tap Create a New Club on the Find Your Club screen.
Enter your club's full name. A live counter shows your progress, and the name must be 3 to 50 characters.
Tap Next once your name is valid.
Note: Club names can include letters, numbers, spaces, hyphens, ampersands, apostrophes, and periods. Other special characters aren't allowed, and you'll see: "Club name contains invalid characters. Please use only letters, numbers, and basic punctuation."
If your name closely matches an existing club, PLAI shows you similar clubs so you can join one of those instead if that's actually what you meant.
Select your sports
Browse the sports list or search by name.
Tap each sport your club plays. You can select more than one.
Tap Next once at least one sport is selected.
Can't find your sport? Tap I can't find my sport to request it be added.
Add your club address
Start typing your street, city, or postal code.
Select the correct address from the suggestions.
Confirm the pin on the map matches your location, then tap Next.
If the address isn't quite right, tap Return to Search to try again.
Your role and club size
Select the option that best describes your role, for example President or Chairman.
Tap Next, then select your club's size: Less than 50, 50 to 100, 100 to 500, or More than 500.
Tap Next.
Your biggest challenges
Select exactly 2 of the options shown, for example "Reduce Administration" or "Simplify Availability & Selection."
Tap Next once you've picked 2.
When are you going live?
Select the timeline that best fits your plans: ASAP, this month, in the next 3 months, in the next 6 months, or not yet, just exploring. Tap Next to finish setup.
Once you've completed these steps, your club is created and you'll move into your club onboarding checklist to finish setting things up.
FAQ
Can I go back and change something I entered earlier?
Yes, tapping the back arrow at any point takes you to the previous screen with your data intact, though some steps ask you to confirm before discarding progress.
What if my club already exists under a similar name?
PLAI will show you the similar club so you can request to join it instead of accidentally creating a duplicate.
