How to Manage, Edit, and Archive Membership Types

How to view your club's existing membership types, edit their name, group allocation, or pricing, and archive ones you no longer need.

Viewing your membership types

Tap Membership Types from Your Club on the Admin Screen. Every active membership shows as a card with its name, group allocation, and payment type (free, or paid with its fee).

Editing a membership type

  1. Tap the edit icon on a membership card.

  2. Update the name, group allocation, or payment configuration as needed.

  3. Tap Save.

A toast confirms: "Membership Updated." Changes apply to future registrations only, existing members keep their original terms.

Note: Switching a membership from free to paid requires an active Stripe Connect account, you'll be prompted to activate it first if it isn't already. Switching from paid to free doesn't cancel any existing paid subscriptions, you'll need to manage those separately from Treasury if needed.

Archiving a membership type

  1. Tap the edit icon on the membership card, then tap Archive.

  2. Confirm on the modal: "Archive this Membership? Members already on this membership will not be affected. New members will no longer see this as a registration option."

  3. Confirm.

The membership moves to a collapsible Archived section at the bottom of the screen, and a toast confirms: "Membership archived." Archived memberships can be restored at any time.

Important: Your club must always have at least one active membership type. Archiving your last remaining one is blocked with a message explaining you need to add another first.

FAQ

Does archiving affect anyone currently on that membership?

No. Existing members keep their access, subscription, and payment terms exactly as they were, archiving only hides it from new registrations.

Can I delete a membership type entirely?

Yes, the edit screen also has a delete option, which is confirmed via a modal before it takes effect.
