When a Group is no longer needed, deleting it removes the Group itself, but never touches the club membership of the people who were in it.
Go to the Groups screen and tap Manage.
Find the Group, then tap the ⋮ menu on its row.
Tap Delete Group (shown in red with a trash icon).
A confirmation modal appears: "Delete Group — Are you sure you want to delete this group? This action is not reversible." Tap Delete Group to confirm, or Cancel to back out.
If the Group is referenced in an upcoming event or active communication, the modal adds an extra line: "This group is referenced in active events or communications. Deleting it may affect those items." Deletion still proceeds if you confirm.
Important: All members who were in the Group remain full, active club members. Only their mapping to this specific Group is removed, they still appear in All Members and any other Groups they belong to.

Will deleting a Group cancel any memberships or payments?
No. Deletion has no effect on membership status or payment records, it only removes the Group and its member mappings.
What happens if the Group was nested inside a Section?
The Group is removed from the Section. The Section itself is unaffected, even if this was its only Group.
What if someone else already deleted this Group?
You'll see: "This group has already been deleted." The list refreshes to reflect the current state.
