Edit a message
Long-press the message you want to change.
Tap Edit.
Update the text in the input field, which is pre-filled with your original message.
Tap Save.
Your edited message updates instantly for everyone in the chat, with an "edited" label so they know it changed. There's no time limit on when you can edit.
Note: You can only edit your own messages. Club admins can edit any message; group admins can edit their own messages.
FAQ
Can I see the original text after editing?
No. There's no version history. Editing replaces the message content, and only the latest version is shown.
What happens if I edit a message that's since been deleted?
Your save fails, and you'll see a message letting you know it's no longer available.
