If you merged two duplicate profiles and the profile disappeared, or if a merge went wrong, here is what to do.
What Happened
When merging duplicate profiles, PlanitEasy combines the two profiles into one and removes the other. If both profiles seem to have disappeared, it is likely a display issue or the merged profile is under a slightly different name.
How to Find the Merged Profile
Go to your CRM / Profiles section
Search by email address instead of name β this is more reliable after a merge
Try searching by partial name (first name only or last name only)
Clear your browser cache and refresh the page, then search again
If the Profile Is Truly Gone
Contact PlanitEasy support immediately with:
The name and email of the profile(s) you merged
The approximate time you performed the merge
Our team can investigate and restore the profile data if needed.
Can You Undo a Merge?
Merges cannot be undone by the user. If you made a merge mistake, contact support right away. We may be able to reverse it depending on the situation.
Tips to Avoid Merge Issues
Before merging, verify that both profiles are truly the same person
Check the email addresses on both profiles β if they are different, the profiles might belong to different people
After a Sabre sync, duplicate profiles can be created if the name format differs slightly. Review before merging.
