The Booking tab in your Studio Settings defines the essential behaviors of your studio’s booking engine — how far in advance clients can book, how much buffer time is needed between sessions, and what info is collected from clients during checkout.

This is where you shape the experience — not just the slots available — for your customers.

🔍 Where to find it:

Admin Panel → Studio Settings → Booking

⚙️ Key Settings You Can Control:

1. Advance Booking Rules

  • Minimum Notice (Cutoff Time)
Set how far in advance a client must book a session.
Example: If set to 24 hours, users won’t be able to book a session within the next 24 hours.

2. Buffer Time

  • Buffer After Sessions
Helps prevent back-to-back bookings and gives your team breathing room to reset the studio.
This applies globally to all bookings made through the public page.

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Rules

  • Client-side Flexibility
Determine how many hours before a session users are allowed to cancel or reschedule.
This gives you control over your operational flow while maintaining flexibility for clients.

💡 These rules only apply to sessions booked by clients. Admins can override them manually when needed.

4. Booking notes

Allow your clients to add specific requirements or ask them yourself any specific questions that you would like to know before booking. Feel free to make it mandatory or not. If you’ve set them up. They appear during the booking checkout just before payment.

🌱 Coming Soon

We're planning to expand this section to allow:

  • Fully customizable booking forms (i.e., collect client-specific questions)

  • Pre-session surveys or checklists

Stay tuned!

🔗 Why this matters:

Setting this up correctly ensures your calendar is respected, your operations are streamlined, and your clients know exactly what to expect. It protects your team from last-minute surprises while creating a smooth, user-friendly booking process for your clients.

🧠 Pro Tip:

Make sure your Rooms have their calendars connected.

✅ Summary:

Studio Booking Settings are your policy engine — where you draw the line between availability and sanity. By setting smart rules, you reduce friction, eliminate last-minute chaos, and provide your clients with a booking experience that’s both professional and predictable.
