The Payment tab in your Studio Settings controls how and when your customers pay. It’s the beating heart of your studio’s monetization, making sure every booking is not only confirmed — but collected.

This is where you connect your payment processor, define your pricing strategy, and ensure transactions are smooth and secure.

🔍 Where to find it:

Admin Panel → Studio Settings → Payment

⚙️ What You Can Configure:

1. Payment Provider

You can currently connect one of the following payment platforms:

  • Stripe: Enables direct card payments during checkout. Works globally and integrates seamlessly.

  • Square: If you operate in a region supported by Square, you can enable it for on-location or online processing. Especially useful for hybrid studios.

⚠️ Only one provider can be active at a time.

2. Enable “Pay Later” Option

This powerful feature allows you to collect booking requests without requiring immediate payment.

Here’s how it works:

  • When enabled, users are offered a “Pay Later” option during checkout.

  • Once selected, the booking does not auto-confirm.

  • Instead, a booking request is submitted, and you'll receive a notification to approve or reject it manually from the admin panel.

  • Only once approved by the studio does the session become officially booked.

This is ideal for:

  • B2B clients

  • Returning customers with trusted relationships

  • Clients who pay in person or via custom invoice

When disabled:

  • Users will be required to enter card details and pay immediately via Stripe or Square to confirm the session.

💡 Use Pay Later as a hybrid workflow to manage payment externally while still leveraging Podyx’s scheduling power.

3. Promo Codes

Payment settings integrate with Promo Codes, allowing customers to redeem discounts during checkout.

Promo codes:

  • Are created and managed via the Promo Codes section in the Admin Panel

  • Can apply to base services, bundles, or full sessions

  • Are applied directly by the user in the payment interface

4. VAT (if applicable)

Studios that need to apply Value Added Tax can:

  • Set a percentage in the admin

  • Choose if you want to show VAT in the booking flow or just at the checkout

  • Include it in receipts, invoices, and session summaries

🧾 What the Customer Sees at Checkout:

Depending on your setup, users will either:

  • Pay immediately using card input via Stripe or Square

  • Or, if Pay Later is active, submit a booking request, which they'll be informed needs to be reviewed and approved before it’s confirmed

They can also:

  • Add promo codes

  • See a breakdown of pricing (including VAT)

  • Agree to Terms & Conditions before finalizing anything

✅ Summary

The Payment settings allow you to:

  • Accept card payments via Stripe or Square

  • Alternatively, offer Pay Later workflows for added flexibility

  • Enable discounts through promo codes

  • Clearly manage VAT for transparency and compliance

Whether you want a frictionless checkout or prefer hands-on session approvals, Podyx gives you the tools to do it your way — while still keeping the process smooth for your clients.
