Notifications help your studio maintain a polished, proactive relationship with clients — without needing to manually send emails for every booking. With a mix of system-generated and custom-triggered notifications, you’ll keep clients in the loop from the moment they book, through post-session follow-ups and even long-term re-engagements.

This is where you turn communication into a branded, automated extension of your studio.

🔍 Where to find it:

Admin Panel → Studio Settings → Notifications

📩 Types of Notifications

There are two main categories:

1. System Notifications (Pre-built & always-on)

These are automatically sent by Podyx and cover all the key lifecycle events:

  • Booking Confirmation

  • Session Reminder

  • Session Reschedule Confirmation

  • Session Cancellation (by client or studio)

  • Bundle Purchase Confirmation

  • Session Assigned from Bundle

You can but don’t need to configure these — they work out of the box.

🧠 You can view what these messages say by clicking into the “System Notifications” section.

2. Custom Notifications (Optional & fully configurable)

You can create your own notifications to go beyond the basics and keep clients engaged. There are three types, each with their own purpose:

🕒 Reminder

Send an additional reminder before a client’s upcoming session.

You can set:

  • Time of delivery (e.g., 24 hours before, 2 hours before)

  • Subject line + custom message + closing message

Use cases:

  • Last-minute tips

  • What to bring

  • Parking instructions

  • Studio policies

Follow-Up

Send a thank-you or next-steps email after a session ends.

You can set:

  • Delay time (e.g., 1 hour later, 24 hours later)

  • Subject line + custom message + closing message

Use cases:

  • “Thanks for recording with us!”

  • Remind them to leave a review

  • Offer a bundle or discount code

🔁 Re-engagement

Trigger a check-in email after a period of inactivity (based on time since last session).

You can set:

  • Delay time (e.g., 30 days, 60 days)

  • Custom subject, body and closing

Use cases:

  • “We miss you — ready to book again?”

  • Seasonal promotions

  • Bring lapsed clients back into the studio

  • Combine it with promo codes

🎨 Email Branding (Appearance)

Don’t forget: You can upload a custom banner to be shown in all email notifications from your studio.

Go to:
Admin Panel → Studio Settings → Appearance

This gives your emails a branded, professional look that reflects your studio identity — especially important for reminders and follow-ups that go beyond transactional messages.

💡 Tips for Using Notifications Effectively:

  • Stack your communication thoughtfully:
    → System email → Reminder → Follow-Up → Re-engagement (if needed)

  • Keep your messages short, helpful, and aligned with your brand tone

  • Use emojis and bold formatting in moderation to keep things engaging

  • Make sure each notification is tied to the right setup if you run multiple types of services

✅ Summary:

Podyx’s notification system helps you automate client communication that feels personal, timely, and on-brand. From confirmations to check-ins, these messages keep your clients informed and engaged — without you needing to lift a finger each time.

Use it to:

  • Reduce no-shows

  • Reinforce your professionalism

  • Bring clients back again and again
