Podyx gives you the ability to send automated emails to your clients based on their activity — not just transactional confirmations, but relationship-building messages that drive retention, reduce no-shows, and keep your studio front and center.

These are your Custom Notifications, and they’re designed to help you nurture clients at scale, with almost no effort.

📬 Types of Notifications You Can Create

You can create three kinds of automations from the Studio Settings → Notifications panel:

1. Reminder Notifications

Sent before a session, to help clients show up prepared and on time.

Use cases:

  • “Reminder: Your session is tomorrow at 2 PM”

  • “Bring your outline and files — see you in Studio B!”

You can schedule these to send a set amount of time (e.g. 24 hours) before the session start time.

2. Follow-Up Notifications

Sent after a session, to create a clean post-session experience.

Use cases:

  • “Thanks for recording today — here’s what’s next.”

  • “Leave us a review, or book your next session below.”

These emails build trust, increase repeat bookings, and help gather testimonials or content for your studio.

3. Reengagement Notifications

Sent after a period of inactivity — to bring past clients back.

Use cases:

  • “We haven’t seen you in a while… here’s 10% off your next session.”

  • “New bundle just dropped — your mic’s waiting.”

These are perfect for reactivating old leads or returning clients who’ve gone cold.

🛠 Setting Up a Custom Notification

Admin Panel → Studio Settings → Notifications → Create New Notification

You’ll be guided through:

  1. Choose Type: Reminder, Follow-Up, or Reengagement

  2. Set the Trigger:

    • For Reminder: X hours before session

    • For Follow-Up: X hours after session

    • For Reengagement: X days after inactivity

  3. Name the Notification (for internal use)

  4. Write the Subject Line & Email Body

    • You can personalize with smart fields like {Client Name}

    • Add links to book again, buy a bundle, or leave a review

  5. Save & Activate

🧠 There’s no limit to how many notifications you can create — and you can edit or deactivate them at any time.

🎨 Customize the Look & Feel

All system-generated emails (including custom notifications) will automatically:

  • Use your uploaded email banner (set in Studio Settings → Appearance)

  • Match your chosen theme (light or dark)

This gives your emails a branded, studio-quality feel — even if they’re automated.

💡 Pro Tips for High-Performing Notifications

  • Be warm, not robotic — you're a creative space, not a billing system

  • Use your Reminder email to reduce no-shows and prep clients (“Don’t forget your outline and SD card!”)

  • Add value in your Follow-Ups — like links to your upload portal, drive folder, or post-production timelines

  • Offer time-sensitive incentives in Reengagement messages (“Book this week for 15% off”)

  • Keep messages short and scannable — mobile users are your primary audience

🔁 Pairing With Zapier (Advanced)

If you're already using Zapier, you can go beyond email:

  • Trigger Slack messages or CRM updates after a session

  • Push clients into different marketing flows

  • Tag users in Notion or your newsletter platform post-booking

✅ Summary:

Custom Notifications in Podyx give you a simple, scalable way to nurture client relationships. Whether you're preventing no-shows, encouraging repeat bookings, or reactivating dormant clients — these messages keep your studio front-of-mind.

Set it once. Let it work forever.
