Who this is for: studio operators (admin panel) · Product: Podyx V2
The in-app calendar is the live control surface for your studio. It is not just a view of what is booked, it is where you create bookings, hold time, and see at a glance how busy you are. Find it in the main navigation, below Dashboard and Collaboration.

🔄 Two-way sync with Google Calendar
The calendar syncs both ways through your integrations. You can map each room to its own calendar, so bookings land in the right place, and anything you create in Podyx appears in Google Calendar too. If your team lives in Outlook or iCal, you can mirror the same schedule there.
Events that already exist in a connected calendar show up in Podyx as slot blockers, with their details visible so you can see at a glance what is holding that time.
👀 Views and filters
Weekly view for day-to-day scheduling.
Monthly view, color-coded so busy days stand out instantly.
Daily view for a focused look at one day.
Filter by room, one or several at a time.
Show or hide buffers, depending on whether you want the true picture or the clean one.
💡 Leave the calendar open on a screen in the studio as a live schedule for whoever is on shift.
➕ Create bookings straight from the calendar
Click an open slot and build the booking without leaving the view. You can set:
The client's email and the setup being booked
Base service, with a price override if this one is different
Recording seats, duration, date and time
Additional services and file transfer options
Notes, guests, billing details and a promo code
Then decide whether to send a payment link now or just send a booking confirmation and take payment later. You control how long the payment link stays valid and how long the slot is held before it is released back to the public.
You can also create bundle bookings and slot blockers from the same place.
🧠 Why it matters
One source of truth. Your studio calendar and your personal calendar stop disagreeing.
Phone bookings take seconds, because you can build one while the client is still talking.
Held slots do not leak, since unpaid holds release automatically.
The month view is a business report in disguise, showing your quiet weeks before they arrive.
✅ Summary
Connect each room to its calendar, pick the view that suits the moment, and use the calendar as your working surface: create bookings and blockers directly, send payment links with an expiry, and let two-way sync keep everything else honest.
