Connecting Google Calendar is the single highest-value integration in Podyx, because it stops your studio calendar and your real life from disagreeing. Once it is on, external commitments block bookings automatically and you stop manually copying things across.

🔗 Connect and map your calendars
Authorize Google, then map calendars to specific rooms or team members. One sub-calendar per room is the sweet spot: each space keeps its own clean schedule and bookings land where they belong.
You can also sync other people's calendars, as long as they have shared them with your account first. That is how a freelancer's or engineer's availability can shape what clients are able to book.
🔄 Sync works both ways
Bookings created in Podyx appear in Google Calendar.
Events added in Google Calendar appear in Podyx, as slot blockers carrying their original event names.
Deletions update automatically on both sides.
Anything in a connected calendar blocks booking availability, so a dentist appointment protects itself.
⚠️ Overlaps become conflicts
Google Calendar allows two events at the same time. A physical studio does not. When Podyx sees an overlap in the same room it flags a conflict and emails you, and you decide which event wins in the Conflicts tab. You can also drop in a slot blocker to keep that time protected.
