Overview
To connect your tools with Polar Analytics, you’ll often need to provide API credentials such as tokens, keys, or account identifiers. These credentials allow Polar to securely access your data and enable integrations to function correctly.
This guide walks you through how to locate or generate API credentials for commonly used platforms, including Awin, impact.com, ShipStation, Yotpo, and more. Each section provides clear, step-by-step instructions to help you quickly retrieve the required information.
Section 1: Affiliate & Advertising Platforms
Awin
To find your API token (OAuth2 Token) and account region:
Log in to your Awin account.
Click your user profile icon in the top-right corner.
Select API Credentials from the dropdown.
Alternatively, navigate directly to the API Credentials page.
Enter your account password to verify your identity.
Click Show my API token.
Copy your OAuth2 Token.
Navigate to Account → Regions and note your account region.
👉 Provide both the API token and account region.
impact.com
To locate your Account SID and Auth Token:
Log in to your impact.com account.
Go to Settings (bottom-left menu or via your profile).
Scroll to the Technical section.
Click API (or API Access).
Locate the following credentials:
Account SID (starts with “IR”)
Auth Token (private key)
Click the eye icon or “Show” button to reveal the Auth Token if hidden.
Taboola
API credentials are not self-serve.

Twitter Ads
To authorize access:
Add one of the following to your Twitter Ads account:
@polar_analytics
Assign one of these roles:
ACCOUNT_ADMIN
AD_MANAGER
CAMPAIGN_ANALYST
AppLovin (MAX / Axon)
To retrieve your Report Key:
Log in to your AppLovin dashboard.
Navigate to the Account tab in the left-hand menu.
Click General, then go to the Keys tab.
Copy the Report Key (API Key).
Section 2: Marketing & Messaging Platforms
Mailchimp
To connect Mailchimp:
Add hey@polaranalytics.co to your Mailchimp account.
Assign Manager or Admin permissions.
Attentive
In Attentive, API keys must be generated via a Custom App.
Step 1: Create a Custom App
Log in to your Attentive dashboard.
Go to the App Marketplace.
Click + Create App.
Fill in:
App Name (e.g., “Internal Integration”)
Contact Email
Required permissions (Read/Write based on use case)
Step 2: Retrieve API Key
Click Create.
Copy the API key from the modal (shown only once).
Store it securely.
Step 3: If the App Already Exists
Navigate to App Marketplace → Built by you
Select your app
Click Regenerate API Key
Update the key in any existing integrations (old key will stop working)
💡 Security Tip: Treat your API key like a password. Regenerate it immediately if compromised.
Section 3: Ecommerce & Operations Platforms
ShipStation
To generate your API Key and Secret:
Go to Account Settings.
Select Account → API Settings.
Choose your API Version.
Click Generate API Key.
Check your email and click the verification link.
Return and generate the key again.
Set expiration (3, 6, or 12 months).
Click Generate.
Copy your:
API Key
API Secret
⚠️ These credentials are shown only once — store them securely.
Yotpo
Yotpo Loyalty & Referrals
Log in to Yotpo.
Go to Loyalty & Referrals in the sidebar.
Navigate to Settings → General Settings.
Scroll to Store API Access Keys.
Copy:
GUID
API Key
Yotpo Reviews
Step 1: Find App Key
Log in to Yotpo Admin.
Click your profile icon.
Go to Account Settings / Store Settings.
Open General Settings.
Scroll to API Credentials.
Copy your App Key.
Step 2: Generate Secret Key
Click Get secret key.
Check your email for the verification code.
Enter the code in Yotpo.
Click Submit.
Copy the Secret Key from the pop-up.
⚠️ The Secret Key is only shown once.
Key Notes
Only Admin users can access the Secret Key
Verification codes expire (typically ~60 minutes)
Regenerate if needed
