Custom Connectors

Learn about custom connectors — including Awin, Impact, Mailchimp, Taboola, Attentive, Yotpo, and more. See what credentials or account access we need from you to get each one set up.

In addition to our standard, self-serve integrations, Polar offers custom connectors for a number of additional platforms.

These connectors are listed on the Connectors page in Polar, but because they aren't fully self-serve, setting one up requires support from our team.

  • Availability: Custom connectors are available to customers on a paid Polar plan. They are not available to free trial customers.

  • How to request one: Reach out via the in-app chat and ask to speak to an agent, or email us at support@polaranalytics.co. Let us know which connector you'd like connected — sharing the info below when you reach out will help us get it set up faster.

Below is the current list of available custom connectors, along with what we'll need from you to get each one connected. Some of this is account access (adding us as a user), and some is API credentials you'll need to generate on your end.

Awin

We'll need your API token and your account region.

  1. Log in to your Awin account.

  2. In the top-right corner, click your profile name, then select API Credentials.

  3. Enter your login password in the Password field.

  4. Click Show my API token and copy it.

  5. Also note your account's region (under Account > Regions) and share it with us along with the token.

Impact

We'll need your Account SID and Auth Token.

  1. Log in to your Impact dashboard.

  2. Click the interlocking-circles Settings icon (or your profile icon) in the bottom-left corner.

  3. Go to Technical > API.

  4. On the API Management page, you'll find:

    • Account SID — usually starts with IR

    • Auth Token — may be hidden behind a "Show" or eye icon

Treat your Auth Token like a password. If it's ever exposed, use the Reset/Regenerate option on that same page before sending us the new one.

Mailchimp

No API key needed — just add us as a user on your account.

  1. In Mailchimp, invite hey@polaranalytics.co to your account.

  2. Grant Manager or Admin permissions.

ShipStation

We'll need your API Key and Secret Key.

  1. Log in to your ShipStation account.

  2. Click the Settings icon (top right).

  3. Go to Account > API Settings.

  4. Copy the API Key and Secret Key and send both to us.

Taboola

We'll need a Client ID and Client Secret.

Taboola doesn't expose these in account settings — ask your Taboola Account Manager to issue you a client_id and client_secret, then share them with us.

Twitter Ads

No API key needed — just add us as a user on your ad account.

  1. Add @polar_analytics or hey@polaranalytics.co (whichever applies) to your Twitter/X Ads account.

  2. Grant Account Admin, Ad Manager, or Campaign Analyst permissions.

AppLovin

We'll need your AppLovin API Key. Request this from your AppLovin account contact and send it to us — we'll handle the rest of the setup on our side.

Walmart Marketplace

We'll need three things from your Walmart Seller/Marketplace account:

  • Client ID

  • Client Secret

  • Service name (usually your brand name)
