Once you've created your Polar Analytics account, the first thing you need to do is connect your Shopify store. This is a necessary step to start pulling data into Polar, and you won't see any dashboards until your sources have been connected.

Step 1. Ensure you have all the right permissions needed to connect to Shopify. This is particularly important if you're managing another brand's Shopify. The necessary permissions are detailed here.

Step 2. Navigate to the Connectors tab and select "Configure" under the Shopify widget.

Step 3. Enter your Shopify store's URL. You can locate this URL in your Shopify Admin > Domains, or under this link. It will have the following format: storename.myshopify.com

Step 4. Finalize your configuration and wait for the data to sync to Polar. Once the initial data sync is complete, you'll receive an email notification so that you can begin exploring your dashboards. This initial sync process can take up to 24 hours. If you'd like to add more accounts, simply repeat the process above.
