Please see the payment statuses below and what they mean.

If after around 2 weeks, payments made with childcare vouchers are still “in progress” or “complete”, you need to follow up on these.

Please note, you don’t have to worry about Complete card payments. They will change to in bank automatically once the money hits your account.

In Bank

  • For card payments, this is when the payment is in your bank account (usually within 2 days of payment).

  • For tax-free childcare payments, PonchoPay has verified that the payment is in bank.

  • For Edenred, Sodexo, Computershare, Care-4 and Kiddivouchers, PonchoPay has verified that the amount has been sent out by the voucher provider.

Complete

  • For card and TFC express payments, this is when the parent has completed the payment and funds have been captured.

  • Once our system has reconciled the payment, it will be marked "in bank". You can find out more about why a payment might not have reconciled here.

Reported Complete

  • For TFC standard and childcare voucher payments, this is where the parent has clicked on the "I've made the payment" button to say that they have completed the payment.

  • Our system then attempts to reconcile this payment with the next reconciliation run. You can find out more about why a payment might not have reconciled here.

Overdue

  • For TFC and childcare voucher payments only, this is where the parent has entered card details and 14 days have elapsed without completing the payment. Should you deem it necessary, the card can now be charged.

Card Entered

  • For all payments, this is where the parent has entered their card details but is yet to complete the transaction.

  • For TFC standard and childcare voucher payments, if the payment becomes overdue, the card is on file to be charged should you deem it necessary.

Email Entered

  • Parent entered their email address but did not progress any further.

Cancelled

  • This is where a TFC or a childcare voucher payment has been cancelled.

Refunded

  • This is where a card payment has been refunded.

Partially refunded

  • Partially refunded - Provider has refunded some of the original payment.
