In progress statuses

  • Email entered - Parent has entered email but then stopped.

  • Card entered - Parent has entered their card details.

Complete statuses

  • Complete - Parent has completed the payment and funds have been captured.

  • Paid out - Payment provider has confirmed payout of funds.

  • In Bank - When the payment is in the provider’s bank account (usually within 2 days of payment).

  • Cancelled - Provider has cancelled the payment before it was completed.

  • Partially refunded - Provider has refunded some of the original payment.

  • Refunded - Provider has refunded all of the original payment.

Voucher statuses

In progress statuses

  • Email entered - Parent has entered email but then stopped.

  • Card entered - Parent has entered their card details but is yet to complete voucher transaction. The card is on file to be charged should the parent not complete the payment.

  • Overdue - Parent has entered card details and 14 days have elapsed without completing the payment. Should you deem it necessary, the card can now be charged.

Complete statuses

  • Complete - Parent has said they have completed the payment or our automation system has successfully identified payment.

  • In Bank:

    • For tax-free childcare payments, PonchoPay has verified that the payment is in bank.

    • For Edenred, Sodexo, Computershare, Care-4 and Kiddivouchers, PonchoPay has verified that the amount has been sent out by the voucher provider.

If after around 2 weeks, payments made with childcare vouchers are still “In progress” or “Complete”, you need to follow up on these. Please note, you don’t have to worry about Complete card payments. They will change to in bankautomatically once the money hits your account.
