If your item is damaged or stolen during a rental made through Poppins, you’re protected by Poppins Protection up to 5000 euro.
We’ll help you coordinate with your own insurance, and if eligible, cover repair costs or replacement value (if repair isn’t possible).
If an accident happens during your rental:
Contact the provider immediately and explain what happened.
The provider will submit a claim to Poppins.
If you have personal insurance, you’ll need to claim with them first.
If you want, you can reach out to us to guide you in submitting a claim to your insurer
If your insurer declines coverage, Poppins Protection can step in once you provide written proof of denial.
We’ll then review your claim and cover eligible repair or replacement costs.

Used the item responsibly & reported the accident in time
❌ You’re not covered:
if there’s negligence, misuse, or intentional damage.
