What is Pickme and how does it work?

Updated over a week ago

Pickme is a pick-up point option available in selected areas of Paris and Lyon. Instead of meeting your borrower or provider in person, you simply drop off or pick up your item at a trusted local relay point — called a Keeper — near you. As a borrower, you pick it up whenever it suits you.

How does it work, step by step?

  1. As a provider, you receive a booking request as usual.

  2. If the borrower selected Pickme as a pick-up option, we'll let you know and send you the address of the nearest Pickme drop-off point.

  3. With the Keeper, you can align on the perfect moment for you to drop off the item at your convenience.

  4. Your borrower picks it up from the Keeper — no coordination needed.

  5. The same process works in reverse for the return.

What is a Keeper?

A Keeper is a trusted neighbour-relay, vetted and registered by Pickme, who agrees to receive and hold items during the rental period. They're not a logistics professional — they're a reliable person nearby who's part of the Pickme network.
